A student advocacy group has released a report card for each state assessing disinvestment in higher education. The report card for California can be found at:

The report shows that California’s tuition has nearly doubled in last five years, while the budget for higher education has been cut by 26% in the same time period. in the last three years the portion of the state budget that goes toward education has been cut by 20%.
