Award-winning book James, a novel by author Percival Everett, is a re-imagining of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain told from the perspective of the slave Jim. Vincent Anderson will lead a discussion of the novel followed at a later date by a presentation on slavery in the Ozarks.
