Meet the Cohort
Meenoo Rami has spent her years in the classroom leveraging technology to benefit her students and her years in the tech sector advocating for teachers and students. She is a National Board Certified teacher and National Writing Project teacher-consultant who taught English at the Science Leadership Academy and other Philadelphia public schools for a decade. She helped teachers refine their practice as a Gates Foundation teaching fellow, led Minecraft Education, and supported teachers and schools at Microsoft. She has built education and AI products used by millions of learners, bringing a classroom teacher’s perspective to the design of technology that supports real learning. Meenoo is the author of A Teacher’s Guide to Using AI and Thrive: 5 Ways to (Re)Invigorate Your Teaching. She was awarded of the National Council of Teachers of English’s Conference on English Leadership’s first Innovative Leadership Award.
Chanea Bond is a North Texas high school English teacher and adjunct instructor in composition studies and literature. With over a decade of experience, she’s passionate about teaching, leading, reading, and writing. Currently, Chanea is pursuing her doctorate in curriculum and instruction, with a focus on secondary literacy and teacher mentorship. She is committed to improving career sustainability for educators through meaningful professional development and curriculum support.
Margaret Dalton currently serves as the high school English instructional coach for the Sioux Falls School District in Sioux Falls, SD, where she works with both new and veteran teachers to create inclusive learning environments for all learners. In her 19th year in education, she continually seeks new learning opportunities for herself and has a special interest in strategies that bring agency to the learner. Her most recent learning focus has centered around what effective learning and teaching look like in the age of AI.
Eduard Garces is a globally experienced educator with over eighteen years of teaching across diverse cultural landscapes, from Asia to Northern Minnesota. He brings a forward-thinking approach to education, championing twenty-first century learning, project-based learning, and the innovative use of educational technology. He has collaborated on educational initiatives with organizations such as Macmillan Education, USAID, Cambridge Assessment, and the Minnesota Writing Project, contributing to projects that support curriculum development, assessment, and teacher learning worldwide. These partnerships reflect his commitment to impactful and globally connected education. Believing learning happens everywhere, he designs experiences that are relevant, engaging, and rooted in real-world applications. His cross-cultural background allows him to connect with students from all walks of life while fostering inclusive and future-ready learning environments. When he is off the clock, he is either hiking through scenic trails or hopping on a plane to explore his next destination.
Brittney Martin is an IB English teacher and IB coordinator at Willow Canyon High School in Dysart Unified School District in Arizona. She teaches IB language and literature and theory of knowledge, focusing on developing students’ analytical thinking, writing, and ability to engage with complex, real-world issues. As IB coordinator, she has worked to expand access to the Diploma Programme and strengthen instructional alignment across grade levels. She also leads professional learning for staff, with an emphasis on assessment practices and purposeful integration of emerging tools, including artificial intelligence, in the classroom. She will transition into a teaching and learning specialist role for the 2026–2027 school year, where she will support instructional coaching and schoolwide learning initiatives. Her work centers on creating rigorous, engaging learning experiences that prepare students for success beyond the classroom.
