2018 National Poetry Month Poster

The 2018 National Poetry Month poster is here! It was designed by AIGA Medal and National Design Award-winning designer Paula Scher. According to the Academy of American Poets, this year’s poster “celebrates typography and is suggestive of concrete poetry and Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass. Print your own poster, request a poster, or find the poster in your March issues of NCTE journals. Today officially kicks off National Poetry Month!

Since 1997, the Academy of American Poets has created National Poetry Month posters. Check out this gallery of past posters. How many of them have you had in your classroom?
