Institutions “Nationally Recognized” by NCTE
The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) has adopted the NCTE program standards for undergraduate programs for Initial Preparation of Teachers of Secondary English Language Arts. Institutions seeking CAEP accreditation submit their English education programs for review to NCTE. Listed are the current institutions whose English education programs have been reviewed and are “nationally recognized” by NCTE. To see the list of “Recognized Programs”, click here.
