ReadWriteThink relies on experienced literacy educators to write and review the content that appears on the site. If you have lessons plans, activities, or other ideas you’d like to contribute, this is the place to share them. Or maybe you would rather become one of our reviewers.
Writing for the site
ReadWriteThink seeks classroom-tested, evidence-based lesson plans, printouts, and strategy guides for our Classroom Resources and Professional Development sections. We are also looking for resources for our Parent & Afterschool section. We pay a small stipend upon publication of the work and also offer author pages to our regular contributors.
Reviewing for the site
All content on ReadWriteThink is reviewed by at least two literacy educators. Reviewers serve on a volunteer basis, use an Internet-based system to complete reviews, and can review different types of content, from lesson plans to booklists to out-of-school resources, depending on their areas of expertise.
