After hearing the advice of the Committee on Affiliates to locate this year’s meeting outside of DC, we initiated conversations with a strong partner. Arrangements have been made for OverDrive, a partner of NCTE’s, to host this meeting, providing us access to their beautiful campus. You can read more about OverDrive below.

There will be a strong focus on the future, in particular, engaging and inspiring new and aspiring affiliate leaders and attracting early career teachers and new audiences. This is an opportunity for affiliate leaders to think about and discover, with NCTE and the Committee on Affiliates (COA), a reimaging of what our network does and might offer in the future. We anticipate this will be a generative meeting!

We encourage affiliates to send as many leaders to this biennial meeting as is possible. Attendance at this meeting is an investment in your affiliate’s future as well as in your individual growth and leadership. The work we’ll do in Cleveland will set the stage for your leaders’ and affiliates’ continued growth and vitality. See below for registration and meeting details. Please email affsec@ncte.org with questions.
