2022 NCTE Affiliate Leadership Meeting
As you know, NCTE has a long-standing history with state affiliate organizations. The Affiliate Leadership Meeting focuses on content representing specific areas of opportunity and concern for affiliates. Attendees hear from affiliate leaders from across the continent, NCTE staff, special guests, as well as NCTE elected leaders. As a community of educators, leaders, and learners, we focus on growing together.
NCTE has committed to another leadership meeting in the summer of 2022, and all affiliates are invited to join us. We hope to share dates and a location for the meeting in the coming months.
Attendance at this meeting is an investment you can make in your affiliate’s future! The work we’ll do next summer will set the stage for your leaders and your affiliate’s growth and effectiveness going forward.
Registration information will be forthcoming.
If you are one of the following, you’ll need to pay a registration fee to attend:
- Third, fourth, fifth, or sixth representatives from an affiliate
- Policy analysts
- NCTE members with other roles in the Council
- Any NCTE member who would like to attend
NCTE will partially cover the cost of two representatives from each affiliate to attend per the meeting-attendee policy. If an affiliate wants to send more than two representatives, there will be a registration fee plus travel and lodging costs. It’s time to begin thinking about who from your affiliate should attend! NCTE and the participating affiliates share the cost of the meeting as outlined in the Affiliate Leadership Meeting Reimbursement Policy.
